Codeplay compiler technology at the heart of revolutionary physics engine

Codeplay Software Limited today announced that its compiler technology has been chosen by AGEIA?™ Technologies, Inc., the pioneer in hardware accelerated physics for games, to power its revolutionary Physics Processing Unit, the PhysX?™ chip. "We have developed an outstandingly powerful hardware physics engine," said Andy Keane, Vice President of Marketing at AGEIA. "In order for developers to fully embrace the technology, we wanted the best compiler technology available. We found that in the widely used Codeplay VectorC."
