Overview
VectorC is a high performance C/C++ compiler which offers the fastest
possible gains from the latest in processor features without using
assembly language!
Performance Improvement
VectorC optimizes your C/C++ software. VectorC exploits the ability
of the latest microprocessors to perform multiple operations in
parallel. The new SIMD (single instruction, multiple data) instructions
enable a large boost in processing power, however taking advantage
of them is a time consuming process which has so far required the
deployment of complex assembly language programming.
Portability
You can write C/C++ code once, and then optimize for different
platforms. VectorC converts from C/C++ to different SIMD instructions
depending on the machine you're compiling for.
Productivity
VectorC does the optimization work for you, saving valuable development
time and resources.
Prototyping
Fast, high-performance graphics, game, audio and science software
can be written with VectorC.
Platforms
VectorC is available for PlayStation®2 and Windows. If you want
VectorC ported to a different hardware architecture - whether a general-purpose
processor, a vector processor, or a DSP - contact
