Codeplay announces release of VectorC{PC} 2.0

Codeplay announced the release of VectorC{PC} 2.0 today. Now C++ PC developers can take advantage of Codeplay's optimization technology and create Athlon XP and Pentium 4 enhanced games and applications quickly and easily.

Codeplay now provide a free time-limited trial version that can be downloaded direct from the Codeplay web site, letting developers try it out on their own code.

VectorC is already being used by hit game developers in Europe, USA and Japan. Empire Interactive's upcoming visually stunning Ghost Master is one of a new generation of titles which is turning to VectorC to boost performance while cutting down on development time. Now the VectorC optimization technology supports C++ and has been given a whole new range of optimizations.
