Editorial Webinar: Multi-Core Design

Codeplay's Founder and CEO Andrew Richards will be participating as a panelist in an upcoming live webinar on multi-core design organised by Embedded Systems Design/Embedded.com. The webinar will focus on the issues involved in multi-core design and takes place on the 18th December at 1900 UTC.
As well as managing Codeplay Andrew is the chief architect of the Codeplay's Sieve C++ Parallel Programming System and compiler technologies. Alongside other leading industry figures, Andrew will be providing advice on how to design a multi-core system and answering questions live at the end of the session.
Codeplay at MULTIPROG 2008 in Sweden

A new paper, "Strict and Relaxed Sieving for Multi-Core Programming", has just been accepted for
presentation at the First Workshop on Programmability Issues for Multi-Core Computers (MULTIPROG 2008), held in conjunction with the 3rd International Conference on High-Performance Embedded Architectures and Compilers (HiPEAC 2008).
A pre-print of the paper will be available online soon.
Codeplay Wins International Business Award

Codeplay has another trophy to add to the cabinet after winning a runnner up prize in the Scottish Software Awards.
Codeplay won the award in the International Business Category, in recognition of successes in selling and marketing to overseas customers.
Andrew Richards, founder and CEO of Codeplay, said “we’ve been able to go out from Scotland and successfully win business around the world – and I’d certainly encourage other small Scottish companies not to hesitate, but just to get out there – there is business to be got!”
