Codeplay Engineer Wins Prestigious

Dr Alistair Donaldson
Dr. Alastair Donaldson, a compiler engineer with Codeplay Software Limited, Edinburgh, has been awarded a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, to investigate advanced formal verification techniques for heterogeneous multi-core programming.
The research will take place over a three year period and will seek to develop analysis and verification techniques to help detect and fix errors early in the design of multi-core software.
Codeplay have announced that they will be attending the 2009 Multi-Core Expo held at the Santa Clara Convention Centre on March 17-19.

Codeplay wins award at Elektra08

At a glittering ceremony in Munich on 10th November 2008, Codeplay came first in the
research and development category of the Elektra08 awards for its Sieve C++ multicore programming platform.
Andrew Richards, CEO of Codeplay, said "we are delighted by this recognition from electronics industry leaders. After three years of development, this award for Sieve and its recent adoption by a major industry player, make all the effort worthwhile".
