GRADUATE COMPUTER PROGRAMMERS
Codeplay is looking for smart, graduate
programmers to work on development tools for the next generation of
computer games and digital entertainment hardware. This is an exciting
role working on cutting-edge technology.
This is not a games development post.
Codeplay offers a highly technical challenge
within the games and entertainment industry. You will gain vital
project management and technical skills that will help you throughout
your programming career.
What a graduate programmer will be doing:
- Enhancing user interface and integration.
- Researching and implementing new optimizations.
- Testing and customer support.
- Maintaining the company network.
- Developing the company website at
www.codeplay.com.
You must...
- Be able to program in C/C++/assembly
- Want to do new, highly technical challenges.
- Be willing to perform a wide range of tasks
initially, and able to specialize as you progress.
A good Computer Science degree will help but is
secondary to a keen 'under-the-hood' understanding of computers and
software.
Codeplay is a new fast-growing company, so there
are plenty of opportunities to develop your career as we expand. We
value ideas and are prepared to take risks.
Codeplay is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. All development work is
based in Edinburgh, so applicants will need to be in Edinburgh
or prepared to move, and have UK or EU citizenship or a work permit.
For well qualified candidates we can arrange work permits.
