Academia

Academic links are important to Codeplay, helping us to identify and recruit promising engineers early in their career and also ensuring that we are informed of the latest trends in compiler research and development.

Post Graduate Research

Codeplay is currently supporting doctoral researchers at the University of Glasgow and at Imperial College, London. We also support an engineering doctorate researcher at the ISLI, Livingston.

EU Framework 7 Programme

EUCodeplay is part of the PEPPHER consortium, with a Proposal to develop a unified framework for programming aimed at Performance, Portability and Programmability for Heterogeneous Many-core Architectures. Consortium partners include the University of Vienna, Chalmers Techniska Hogskola (Sweden), INRIA (France), Intel GmbH (Germany), Linkopings University (Sweden), Movidia Ltd (Ireland) and the University of Karlsruhe (Germany).

Internships

Each year Codeplay establishes a number of summer internships, for promising Computer Science students. In 2008 three students from the University of Glasgow worked with Codeplay, two of whom subsequently took up employment with the company after graduation. We are always happy to speak with students or student supervisors about possible internships. Students should be in the second or third year of their studies and will preferably be studying Computer Science or Mathematics. They will show a passion for and deep interest in compiler and programming technologies. If you are interested in an internship at Codeplay, please email internships@codeplay.com giving details of your course, the period during which you'd like to do your internship, your own contact details and those for an academic referee.
