Andrew Richards - Founder and Managing Director
The founder of Codeplay, Andrew both manages the company and provides intellectual thrust for development of new products to meet emerging market needs. Andrew has primary responsibility for the architectural design of Codeplay’s compiler products. He graduated with a degree in Physics and Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and subsequently gained six years experience as a developer of hit games at Eutechnyx, a game development company in the North East of England where he was Head Programmer and Head of Software Development from 1993-6. He founded Codeplay in 1997, with financial backing from Jez San and others. |

Dr Jens-Uwe Dolinsky – Operations Director
Uwe has primary responsibility for product delivery and quality assurance, managing Codeplay’s software design, implementation and testing processes in respect of customer deliverables. His professional background is in programming languages with the main focus on C++ language and compilation issues. Prior to joining Codeplay Uwe worked on various C++ extensions/libraries (such as a general persistent storage mechanism of C++ data structures) and the results of this work have been published in international journals. He has more than ten years experience in implementing computer algebra systems, interpreters and commercial compilers. Uwe has a PhD in Computer Science from Liverpool John Moores University and has worked with Codeplay since 2001 |

Mike Breewood – Marketing Director
Mike joined Codeplay in January 2007, having acted as sales and marketing adviser to Codeplay for the previous two years. He is responsible for raising awareness of Codeplay in the marketplace, for generating the sales pipeline and securing order intake. Mike has 30 years experience in the IT sector, mainly in sales, business development and marketing. He is a Chartered Marketer and a Member of the CIM and of the IET (previously the IEE). Mike graduated from the University of Bradford with a degree in Industrial Technology & Management. |

Satoshi (Steve) Otsuka - Japan Regional Manager
Satoshi Otsuka is the Japan Regional Manager for Codeplay Software since February, 2007. He is also an independent consultant on embedded system design to key Japanese automotive and other electronics companies. He is also Japan Representative for Embedded Microprocessor Benchmark Consortium (EEMBC) and The Multicore Association. Prior to that, he held various technical director positions at M-Systems Flash Disk Pioneers (now SanDisk) and Future Electronics. Before that, he was x86 processor specialist at Intel for 10 years. |
Jez San OBE - Non-executive Director and Majority Share-Holder A leading figure in the Games Industry, Jez founded Argonaut (a high-profile game developer) in the early eighties. Argonaut since grew to become two stock-market listed companies: Argonaut Games and Argonaut Risc Cores, a company specialising in hardware design. Jez is a well-respected name in the Games community, widely quoted and on the board of many of the industry's major events and organisations.
Stephen Gibbens -Financial Advisor Stephen acts as part-time financial controller/director for a number of technology companies and his portfolio of clients includes 8 companies which have been awarded SMART/SPUR/SPURplus grants.
Stephen is responsible for the company’s finance function. |
